jQuery Mobile Presentation
At Chippewa Valley Code Camp, I presented on jQuery Mobile. It was a lot of fun! Thanks to everyone who attended, and I hope the presentation helped to understand how to build interfaces with jQM. Here are some quick summary things.
QEDProject
Throughout my talk, I ended up pimping a lot of things by Brian Hogan. Well, I actually wanted to pimp one more: QEDProject. QED Project is a Ruby gem that allows you to quickly generate the files and folders needed for working with a variety of technologies. You can quickly create static sites that work with CoffeeScript, SASS, jQuery, and most importantly, jQuery Mobile (at least for the concern of my presentation).
You should check it out on Github, here! It's easy to install and a snap to use.
Resources
The slides are on Google Docs. The code examples are at GitHub.
I mentioned QEDServer which can be found here. Also, Mustache is the client-side template language we touched on and can be found Mustache.
Last, thanks again for allowing me to present. Awesome work by Doug, Brad, and the rest of CVNUG at organizing the camp. If you have any questions on the material for the talk, don't hesitate to email me or hit me up Twitter.
